PAYG SolarPlex

Our PAYG SolarPlex enables farmers to halve their irrigation costs.

Impact Pumps PAYG SolarPlex pump

With extended dry seasons and soaring fuel prices making petrol pump irrigation increasingly unaffordable, our high-performance PAYG SolarPlex surface pumps offer a sustainable alternative, delivering the same water volumes at half the daily cost.

PAYG SolarPlex Key Advantages

Start saving immediately with a 50% reduction in daily operating costs compared to high-pressure petrol irrigation pumps. Affordable PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) finance allows customers to pay in instalments that are less than half of their previous monthly fuel expenses.

The SolarPlex delivers up to 40,000 litres per day and has a maximum head of 75m.  Utilising every Watt of solar energy, SolarPlex pumps maintain high performance throughout the day, even in low light conditions, allowing for extended pumping hours. Equipped with advanced MPPT and Field Oriented Control (FOC), SolarPlex pumps ensure consistent, superior performance without the need for costly external electronics. This integration guarantees reliable operation day after day, year after year.

Affordable PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) finance enables customers to start with a deposit lower than the cost of a new petrol pump. Subsequent payments are made in affordable instalments that are 50% lower than any previous irrigation fuel costs and easily covered by improved harvest income. Once the financing period ends, the SolarPlex operates fuel-free for years, protecting customers from fuel price inflation and extended dry seasons.

As harvests grow, so do water needs. Unlike other solar pumps, SolarPlex pumps are designed to expand effortlessly. By simply adding more solar panels, the pressure and flow of the SolarPlex pump can be upgraded, allowing daily water volumes to scale up to meet increasing demands.

This unique scalability makes SolarPlex pumps the most cost-effective water access solution for growing communities and businesses. While other pumps require costly replacements or supplements to boost productivity, a SolarPlex upgrade is as simple and affordable as adding a new solar panel.

Our pump-motors are equipped with an advanced integrated controller featuring secure PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) technology, ensuring unmatched protection against bypass attempts commonly found in competing products. This robust security ensures peace of mind for our partners and customers, protecting their investment by guaranteeing that the pump operates exclusively with a valid PAYG token from the original purchaser. As a result, the PAYG SolarPlex is highly protected against theft and presents an exceptionally low credit risk, making it eligible for asset finance at favourable interest rates.

Our PAYG SolarPlex is compatible with both time-based ($/month) and energy-use-based ($/kWh) payments, facilitating verifiable carbon credit tracking with or without a GSM/satellite data connection.

We have a network of accredited microfinance institutions willing to offer asset financing of the PAYG SolarPlex to our distribution partners.

For international development banks such as IFC, our secure PAYG SolarPlex provides scalable financing for large-scale irrigation and harvest-enhancing packages. This forms an integral part of regional or country-level agricultural solutions, offering climate-resilient infrastructure accessible to all farmers and their communities.
